1. IPAD 3 – As a tech geek, I want to experience having a tablet pc or like.

2. MacBook Pro – WOW, this is number 1 on my list but I put this to #2 only because until the end of the year I can’t support this financially.

3. Road Bike – As a cycling hobbyist, I am starting to think that I want to collect different types of bikes, I have one now a XC Mountain bike but I also want to add on my collection, a road bike

4. Travel to other place riding to airplane
I know its not a material thing but I put this on my list. I never had any chance to ride an airplane. haha I admit the fact that with my 23 years of existence in this world I haven’t had a chance to ride in an airplane(that’s my wish before the year ends) Having a vacation or a trip to any place in the country or to neighbor countries like SG and Hongkong.

There you go, that was only four on the list but surely I hope one of this will be mine or will happen before the year ends.

Now, I have ample experience as an IT it’ll be very hard for a professional again to step up to the next level. I submitted several application online on a different Job Sites.

Late this May is my first job interview on a young startup company based in Makati. It was tough for me especially on a written exam part. Unfortnately, I failed on that application but nevertheless it was my first try. Same thing on the 2nd and 3rd try, I was unsuccessful but I gained experiences and learned new lessons on my career.

Tomorrow is my 4th interview on another company in Ortigas for a Developer post. It will be a tough challenge again to pass this but certainly I will do my best to grab this opportunity. “Try and Try until I came up to something. I believe even on my nTH time I I applied, I will get this job and will prove that the company I applied does a good decision on hiring me.

During my 2 years in freelancing, I gained several skills not just the technical but as well as my interpersonal and self discipline. As a freelancer, you need a lot of discipline and self control to be able to work alone. It was very though working at home, everyday giving you headache cause you need to be focus on your work with some distractions at home but it doesn’t matter.

Two months from now, I need to leave this freelancing and start a new milestone in my career time to get back at the corporate world and work again with professional people that is where I should be. I think it will be difficult again to adjust but I know I can.

2011 is a good or shall I say better year for me for some reasons. One of this is I improved my health. I can say I am healthy and active this year compared to my 2010. Also I had a chance to have new things such as new desktop, smartphone and a bike. All these things I acquired because I had good things in my freelancing/homebased career. The words or phrase that best describes this year for me is STEADINESS and POSITIVENESS.

Though I haven’t yet achieved the goals I set on the start of 2011 I came to realize I was success on some things. I am very thankful to God. I was praying and hoping that my life will improve more. Later on the year also, I had acquired several big projects for my freelancing and ofcourse I started a small business with my cousin and I conclude that it succeeded though I might think of not to continue the business for some work relationship issue.

I want to thank all of my family and some friends who served as inspiration and I want to continue this momentum I build for the next year. I don’t want to take some goals for next year, All I can say that I will do whatever I want and continue being positive and getting lot of patience and self confidence. That I think is the best way to start finding myself and get more serious in my career. Also, I look forward on seeing and meet new people and friends around and start building my social life.

Thank you 2011 and I am hoping for a better 2012. Prayers for best health for me and my family and to keep the whole world in peace and out of natural calamities. Thank you GOD for making my year 2011 a GOOD one.

By the way I want to share my experience for the first time I have a smartphone. Here is the picture of it. I don’t have actual picture of my new phone.

I had this for only 11,900 on Mega Exchange at Cyberzone SM Megamall last October 3. Its quite cheap because it has only a store warranty.

Here is my overall rating, review and user experience as bulleted:

• Android operating system is fine because it is at the latest version and I can download many apps
• Camera has 5MP with LED light and 1.3MP VGA at front
• Messaging is okay, threaded
• Battery is not good because it can only sustain atleast 6hours if you use it all day
• QWERTY keyboard is excellent rather than a touch input
• Speed and processor is fine.
• Excellent to social media.
